So this past week was the first week of my latest school semester. I am taking another book arts class, as well as digital design 2, along with a couple of liberal art classes. This was my first assignment for my Digital Design 2 class. It’s a designer’s dossier.
The object was to “write approximately 250-300 words about yourself. Use an original self-portrait (photo or illustration) as the primary graphic. Create an engaging two-page spread design that will communicate what you most want us to understand about who you are and why you are pursuing a career in design.”
I was originally going to use the image of me from lovestruck because I thought the image fit me so well. But I decided against it to broaden my horizons.
This is the first part. Over the next week, we’ll all be editing our projects and trying to make them better through the critiques of our classmates and instructor.

The digital imaging final was about creating images that portray words. Well… three of them were. One was about um… a product. Lets see if you can figure the words out. They’re probably not really good. lol The only reason the teacher thought they might be good was because he’s the one that gave us the words. lol

So I had to change the photo to a stock photo I found. Here is a jet-engine powered Vespa!

I dropped out of the exchange. LAME!!!
I’ll still do the print. I’m actually sort of glad that I dropped out. This way I can produce the print using lithography like I like to and take my time. It will look good. I think I will try to participate in an exchange again someday, but I think next time I wont sign up until I actually have it designed and ready to print. That’s probably a wise move.
Anyway, this is what it is supposed to look like:

My zodiac has already taken a back seat to laziness, unfortunately.

Here are some more photos of when my friends came over. I took them into photoshop and did the same treatment on them as my final photos. I tried to pick cool pictures… Let me know what you think.
