how to spend my free time

So today I realized that a lot of my day is spend perusing through etsy’s stores and forums. I don’t always chat (I’ve been trying to more recently). I also spend time looking at facebook and myspace and myartplot and repeatedly checking my emails where I get not much more than junk.

But it’s like when you’re looking for something to eat and you check the fridge there’s nothing there that you want… Then 5 minutes later you check it again because maybe something appetizing magically appeared just for you.

Did I get something now? How about now? Now? Now? Maybe this time… Okay…. i’ll check again in 10 minutes… Now??

So I figured I’ve gotta do something to spend my free time during the day. But how? I’m not really in a place where I can do my usual craft. I must do something else. Something very portable and something that I can put down and away quickly without much hassle if I need to. But what??

I was thinking about taking blank aceo’s with me to doodle, but is there anything else I’m not thinking of?? I bet there is.

it’s great to be hands free

well.. more like purse free.

Today I received my hip pack from etsian utilitywear. It is FABULOUS!

I tried it on immediately and love it! I’ve always disliked purses, but this is such a stylish alternative. If you’re looking for something like this… Go check out that shop!

My monitor’s colors are acting funny again. It used to be all aqua, but now magenta is showing up. My monitor hates me! How can I make sure all of my photos and work looks right if it’s all tinted magenta??

spring has sprung … with an alchemy request

And love is in the air. Okay not really. More like in my work.

Roughly 6 months after I first dreamt up Lovestruck and produced a [awful] silkscreen of it, I brought it back my drawing board and worked it over in Illustrator. What’s nice is that I will have much more accurate lines instead of a hand drawn stencil on acetate.

Now I have to decide how to proceed? Linocut or Lithograph??

I have also posted an Alchemy request on Etsy.com for a tattoo design. If you think you’ve got what it takes to make me want to put your work permanently on my skin… go check it out and bid!
