During the democratic convention coverage last night I sat and did a little more with my canvases. I painted a new one black. I think I might implement my jellyfish design on it. I like the idea of black coming through. I put another layer of pink and clear on top of the purpley canvas, darkened the edges of the angelfish, as well as added slight coloring changes to enhance later. And my brown canvas will have a cute sparrow or bluebird on it when I’m done. Wee!!

And thank goodness for GOJO or else I’d have paint stains all over myself! I have a painting of a Puffin upstairs on the wall that I did when I was in 11th grade (I think.) I might get some giclee prints of it made, and some giclee aceo’s as well.. As well as get fine art prints made of my printmaking designs to sell, since original prints haven’t seemed to sell so well.

Yes yes… finally.. I’ve been prattling on about it for a little bit now.

The good news is… My art cards arrived. Hurray! The bad news is, one of the three was printed incorrectly! Grr!! It’s a horizontal image and it was squished and printed VERTICALLY on the card! Anyway… I have them for sale… For… like… munny. I haven’t decided on a price yet. But if you’re interested, let me know! I will sell them here privately, and I will sell them on Etsy. I will not be selling them on ebay because their fees are unreasonable for items of small cost. The two available prints are Barong I and Untitled and Alone. I will have fresh pictures of the cards available soon.

Some of you may or may not care, but I will be offering some Art Cards for both sale and trade. The first three of my available cards will be based on these three prints:

• Barong I – a nice black and white design that could appeal to many.
• Untitled and Alone – a slightly creepier piece that seemed to be well received.
• Chaotic Paradise – a personal favorite of mine.

There will be 15 of each of these cards. Some I will only sell, others I will be willing to trade, but the numbers are TBD.
